ACCOUNTING OFFICER (SPECIALIST) – ACCOUNTING SERVICES SECTION / CASHIERING UNIT / SACRAMENTO HQ

The reporting location for this position is at the Headquarters in Sacramento, CA.  This position will work under the general supervision of the Accounting Administrator I.  

The Accounting Officer (Specialist) will be processing payments and reconciling financial activity for Parks and DPR's Division of Boating and Waterways.  Incumbent will identify and resolve discrepancies working closely with Division of Boating and Waterways staff. This position will also perform various professional accounting duties for the establishment and maintenance of records required to reconcile the Zero Balance Account (ZBA) and for reviewing and analyzing daily bank data.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position is designated as telework eligible- office centered.

Special Requirements
