Summary:

The QTI Group is recruiting for 2nd and 3rd shift DIRECT HIRE Production Leads for a well-known manufacturing company in Reedsburg in their Finishing, Melt and Mold Departments. The ideal candidate will have a solid work history and have the ability to manage detailed and very physical work in a fast-paced environment. 3rd Shift Hours: Sunday-Thursday 6:00pm-4:30am

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate departmental functions including scheduling, communicating work instructions, deploying personnel, inspecting completed tasks, and ensuring availability of required raw materials and supplies
• Ensure that proper safety and quality practices are being observed by department personnel
• Train and schedule sufficient personnel to meet department schedules
• Recommend personnel actions to the department supervisor about departmental performance, disciplinary action, compensation, staffing, or other personnel issues that may arise.
• Collect and record pertinent data and enter in appropriate file or database
• Notify supervisor and other departments, as necessary, of quality, mechanical, delay or personnel problems and take corrective action within scope of responsibility
• Participate in area continuous improvement efforts including Employee Involvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member
• High school diploma or equivalent with over three months experience preferred
• Requires decimals and fractions, drawings and formulas, adjustable measuring instruments.
• Some judgement to comply with instructions, follow methods, make minor decisions with continuous mental or visual attention.
• Moderate physical exertion. Able to lift 50 pounds. Physical movement includes repetitive motion, with twisting, bending, and standing most of the shift.
• Must be willing and able to wear all required PPE.
