Job Title: Food Safety Manager, Devils Lake, ND
Job Pay: $100,000/Year
The Food Safety Manager ensures that all agricultural products meet safety and quality standards, aligning with regulatory compliance and company policies. You will work collaboratively with production, operations, and quality teams to maintain high standards of food safety, develop risk management protocols, and lead audits. This role involves managing food safety programs, training employees, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Develop, implement, and monitor food safety and quality assurance programs.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSMA, and other food safety regulations.
Conduct internal and third-party audits, and lead corrective action plans.
Train employees on food safety protocols, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.
Maintain risk assessments, monitor critical control points (CCPs), and ensure documentation compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety and production processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Agriculture, or related field.
5+ years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, GMPs, and food safety management systems.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food safety software.
Ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and team training.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
