**Responsibilities** **About This Position** In keeping with the Marian Medical Center philosophy the Infusion Suite RN performs functions that include delivering chemotherapy and therapeutic agents via I.V. administration providing patient education assessment and follow-up and documenting in the electronic medical record. Also performs related work as required. This is under the supervision of the Director of Oncology. **Selection Criteria** + Preferred: OCN Certification + Possess the necessary skills in the administration of chemotherapy drugs + Working knowledge of various venous access devices. + Knowledge of and practices CDC standards regarding exposure to blood + and other body fluids. + Possesses in-depth knowledge of medical disorders associated with cancer and chemotherapy. + Must possess current Registered Nursing License + BLS certificate required \#RN@DH **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must possess current California Registered Nursing License in good standing. + BLS required. + OCN Certification preferred. **Overview** Marian Regional Medical Center a 191-bed facility located in Santa Maria California is recognized as one of the Top 250 Hospitals in the Nation by Healthgrades and was awarded Best Maternity Care by Newsweek.
