Job Description

The Opportunity: We are looking for a Junior Information Security Analyst with working knowledge of Apptio. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining compliance with information security policies and standards, support documentation efforts, and help optimize security processes through reporting and analysis. This role provides a great opportunity to grow within a security-focused environment while contributing to critical initiatives and projects.

• Role: Junior Information Security Analyst
• Experience: 3-5 years
• Work Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Project Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with implementing and monitoring compliance with information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Use Apptio and other tools to support consistent and efficient security processes.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets to support security analysis and decision-making.
• Help enforce security policies by reviewing violation reports and documenting exceptions or controls.
• Participate in meetings to gather and document changes to products, services, or internal processes.
• Maintain internal documentation libraries and ensure materials are kept up to date.
• Provide support in root cause analysis during incident response and post-implementation efforts.
• Assist with issue tracking, project assessments, and preparation of status updates and dashboards.
• Support evaluation efforts for tools or processes aimed at improving security operations.
• Help analyze data trends related to security and contribute to action plans.

Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in information security or related IT roles
• Hands-on experience with Apptio or similar IT financial management tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and document technical information
• Basic understanding of security policies, compliance, and risk management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with AXP policies and procedures is a plus
• Experience supporting security or compliance initiatives in large organizations
