We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including security systems, audio/video systems, data cabling, and telecommunications. Responsibilities

  • Install and configure low voltage systems such as security alarms, CCTV, audio/video, and data networks.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with low voltage systems and equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
  • Document all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Provide technical support to clients and address any concerns or technical questions they may have.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to low voltage systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in low voltage systems preferred.
  • Proven experience as a low voltage technician or similar role in the installation of low voltage systems.
  • Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems and building codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manuals.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools commonly used in low voltage installations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
