Orientation & Mobility Specialist

Description:

Provide direct and consultative instruction for adults with vision loss.\n Provide education and support to student families.\n Administer assessments and craft corresponding reports.\n Maintain data collection and records. \n Communicate and collaborate with various team members.

Requirements:

Hold current teaching certification for O&M or be eligible to apply for an intern O&M credential.\nAble to transport between multiple work-sites on a daily basis.\nKnowledge of the special learning needs of people with vision loss.\nAble to modify and adapt the home environment for safety.
