Project Scheduler - USACE Marine Construction

We are a leading and award winning Marine Construction Company that specializes in Dredging Solutions for various projects. We were founded in 2009 and have already scaled our company to close to 500 employees given our success and expansion in projects. These projects include dredging waterways and shipdocks to major construction and expansion projects. A majority of our work is done around Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana .

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Scheduler to join our team in supporting marine construction projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather and analyze scheduling information.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions to mitigate delays.
• Ensure compliance with USACE standards and regulations in project scheduling practices.
• Assist in the preparation of project plans and documentation for federal project approvals.
• Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Previous scheduling experience for USACE projects is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in marine construction or federal projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with USACE, NAVFAC, and Navy construction project requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of construction processes and project management methodologies.
