Overview:
Direct Counsel is seeking a Junior Real Estate Associate to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in Boston. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated attorney to work on sophisticated real estate transactions while gaining valuable experience in a highly regarded legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a variety of real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, joint ventures, and financing deals.
Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other related contracts.
Conduct due diligence, including title and survey reviews.
Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external parties to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
Provide legal guidance on commercial real estate matters.
Qualifications:
J.D. from a nationally recognized law school.
Admitted to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
1-4 years of experience in real estate transactions at a large or mid-sized law firm.
Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
Excellent business judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
