Commercial Finance Operations Manager

Commercial Finance Operations Manager oversees teams responsible for invoice purchasing, incoming and outgoing payments, and updates to dealer inventory. This position will ensure the work completed meets quality standards and is delivered with excellent customer service. The Operations Manager will also complete internal and external reports, deliver training to stakeholders and oversee vendor programs while working to continuously improve business activity processes.

Day to Day

• Define, monitor, and manage member performance (with emphasis on processing accuracy) to meet hard month, quarterly and annual processing and reporting deadlines.
• Plan, structure, manage and control the department staff and processes in order to achieve the approved objectives, including creating OKR’s and aligning with Commercial team expectations.
• Take the lead in vendor and dealer agreements on specific processing procedures with respect to impact on the team and internal partners.
• Agree with vendors and dealers on best way of processing specific arrangements. Understand the system abilities and limitations and be prepared to implement/defend activities.
• Report required and requested information to the parties concerned (account teams, finance, vendors, dealers, etc.)
• Change agent within the team with consistent look towards improving operational efficiencies and cost savings. Able to grow the managed portfolio without necessarily growing the size of the team.
• Ensures compliance with relevant policies, agreements, and guidelines.
• Able to communicate across several layers of the organization, including with the Local and Regional Management Teams.

Essentials

• Bachelor's Degree in Business related field (Accounting, Finance, etc.) preferred, but will accept comparable work experience in positions of increasing responsibilities/oversight.
• >5 Years direct work related and management experience.
• 5% Travel to Vendor partners may be required.

Applicable Pay Range

$86,650.40 - $129,975.60

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
