Rose Bakery New York  in NYC seeks an experienced full-time Line Cook .

Located in the Dover Street Market, Rose Bakery New York serves breakfast, lunch, and a fine variety of pastries throughout the day.

The #1 thing we want this role to accomplish is to prepare great food.

Compensation:

• $24-26 hourly + event pay + tips

Language requirements:

• English

Experience:

• 2+ years of previous Line Cook experience in a high-volume similar business
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
• Portions food products before cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
• Menu creation
