Voith Paper is hiring for:

Rubber Mill Operator/Compounder 
West Monroe, LA

 

Training for this position will be 7A - 3P and then once trained will transfer to nights, 7P - 3A.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for compounding and mixing of various components used in the manufacture of natural and synthetic rubbers. ​​​​​​​
• Must be familiar with Standard weights and measures.
• Must be knowledgeable in all phases of compounding and mixing operations.
• Responsible for housekeeping in the mill room and compounding area.
• Perform job functions in a manner that promotes Quality per Voith Paper Standards.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required.
• Must be capable of lifting and handling up to 50 pounds.
• Must be capable of standing for a minimum of 8 hours.

Kason Dry Sifter

Fork lift truck

Hand truck

• Requirements:

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 2 years previous rubber compounding experience in Paper Mill roll covering operation preferred.
• 2 years previous rubber compounding experience in other than paper mill roll covering operation preferred.
