The Role

We are seeking a Healthcare Business Intelligence (BI) Senior Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. This role will analyze complex datasets, develop dashboards, and provide actionable insights to clinical, operational, and leadership teams. The Senior Analyst will work closely with finance, clinical, and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting, optimize performance, and support strategic initiatives.

*This role is hybrid and you must reside within driving distance of Aurora, CO to be considered.*

Compensation

  • $80,000-$100,000

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting: 

  • Analyze clinical, financial, and operational data to identify trends and performance opportunities. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports using BI tools such as Power BI. 
  • Provide ad-hoc and scheduled reports to support business intelligence initiatives and strategic decision-making. 
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems. 

Business Intelligence Strategy: 

  • Collaborate with clinical, financial, and operational teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics. 
  • Utilize predictive analytics and data modeling to improve forecasting, staffing decisions, and financial performance. 
  • Implement data solutions to enhance business intelligence capabilities and efficiency. 

Cross-Department Collaboration & Strategic Planning:

  • Assist leadership in annual strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven insights on market trends, referral sources, payer mix, and competitive benchmarks. 
  • Partner with finance to evaluate the financial impact of operational decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities through data analysis. 
  • Support business development and marketing teams by analyzing referral patterns and patient demographics to enhance outreach efforts and service expansion strategies. 
  • Act as a liaison between IT, finance, clinical teams, and leadership to align business intelligence initiatives with organizational goals. 
  • Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear and actionable manner. 

Process Optimization & Automation: 

  • Work with IT to streamline data reporting processes, reduce manual work, and improve efficiency through automation, AI-powered analytics, and workflow optimizations. 
  • Assess operational bottlenecks and propose data-backed process improvements to enhance service delivery, staffing utilization, and patient outcomes. 

Training & Support:

  • Provide training and support on BI tools, dashboards, and reporting processes to internal stakeholders. 

Qualifications & Skills 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role (preferably in home health or healthcare). 
  • Proficiency in SQL and Power BI (DAX). 
  • Strong skills in Excel, Power Query. 
  • Knowledge of home health metrics and industry-specific operational performance indicators. 
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders. 
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes. 
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills. 

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as KanTime and WebPT. 
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and data security best practices.
