• Shipping & Receiving Specialist Level 1
  As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and delivery of goods within our supply chain and distribution network. Join our dynamic team in the logistics department in a traditional warehouse setting. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting products, operating electric pallet jacks, preparing products for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Monday thru Friday 1st shift - 7am start
  
  • You will report directly to our Shipping & Receiving Manager and you'll work out of our Muncie, Indiana location.
    In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by ensuring accurate and timely shipping and receiving processes. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Collaborate with departments across functions: supply chain, delivery, warehouse, operations, and asset to fulfill orders
  • Maintain accurate receiving records
  • Ability to lift objects
  • Boxing, packing, labeling, shipping instruments, and using shipping programs as needed
  • Time-management
  • Ability to work with ERP systems -SAP
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocol
  • Ability to operate lifting and packaging machinery
  • Reading orders: Receiving and checking incoming orders or pick tickets
  • Picking items: Locating products using technology and picking them from shelves according to quantity and size
  • Updating inventory: Keeping inventory counts to date
  • Staging for delivery: Packing the order and staging it for delivery
  • Receive and identify incoming raw stock

• YOU MUST HAVE
  
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must be able to move up and down multi-level stairways safely
  • Must be able to stand and walk on concrete warehouse floors for long periods of time
  • Must be able to squat and kneel often, and lift up to 35 lbs. individually or greater than 35 lbs. in a team lift
