Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Detailer to join our team in Bartow, FL. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for producing precise and detailed drawings for steel fabricators and erectors. Daily responsibilities will include creating shop drawings, detailing various steel structures, and accurately interpreting engineer design drawings. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project managers to ensure all project specifications, deadlines, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate and detailed shop drawings for steel fabrication and erection.
Interpret and work effectively with engineer design drawings and specifications.
Detail a wide variety of steel structures while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project timelines.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity of drawings before submission.
Utilize industry-standard detailing software, including SolidWorks, to complete tasks.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in creating shop drawings and steel detailing.
Hands-on experience with SolidWorks is required.
Prior experience with steel structures preferred.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate them into fabrication details.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Familiarity with other industry-standard detailing software is a plus.
Relevant certification or specialized training in steel detailing is an advantage.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar detailing role.
