Tier 1 Help Desk Technician

Description:

Framework IT is looking for a Tier 1 Help Desk Technician to provide IT support through our help desk to end-users while maintaining excellent customer service. This position combines technical service and troubleshooting with a strong customer service approach.

Responsibilities include expertly handling service tickets, communicating with clients and staff, testing work to ensure client needs are met, fulfilling moves, changes requests, troubleshooting connectivity and email issues, deploying remote monitoring tools, training end-users on workstation support, preparing comprehensive documentation, maintaining customer systems, prioritizing tickets, assisting with onboarding and onsite installations, pre-configuring and installing equipment, documenting new equipment and account information, submitting timesheets, documenting changes, and participating in occasional on-call after-hours support (approximately once a quarter).

Requirements:

Technical skills and experience required: Mac, printing, end-user application support, cabling, ISP installation, WLAN, antivirus, mobile devices, email, basic networking, server support.

Minimum 1 year of Managed Service Provider experience preferred.

Experience with PSA tools (ConnectWise suite) preferred.

Physical requirement to lift up to 35 lbs.

Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required.

PC 1-2 years of experience in IT troubleshooting and supporting computer, networking, or server infrastructure is desired.

Benefits:

Base and bonus compensation between $52,000 and $60,000 per year, commensurate upon experience and performance.
