Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles with an eye for detail

Job Brief:

Levelset, part of Procore, is a leader in construction payment and compliance, offering solutions that help contractors and suppliers manage financial risk and improve cash flow. We're seeking a Contract WordPress Developer & Creative Designer to refresh our current website, focusing on shifting the design, messaging, and call to action towards our growing enterprise client base. This project will involve updating the site's design for consistency and functionality while maintaining SEO performance.

Project Overview:
We are seeking a Contract WordPress Developer & Creative Designer to update our existing website (levelset.com), enhancing its appeal to enterprise customers while ensuring consistency across all pages and maintaining SEO. This is a short-term project focused specifically on redesigning and optimizing the current site to reflect our audience shift while ensuring the website remains visually engaging, user-friendly, and SEO-compliant.

Responsibilities:

• Website Design & Development:
• Refresh the design of the current WordPress site to align with enterprise-focused messaging, ensuring a cohesive look and feel
• Update or modify existing WordPress themes and plugins to support the new design and functionality requirements
• Ensure the site is responsive and optimized for both desktop and mobile users
• Creative Design:
• Provide creative direction for web design elements that appeal to enterprise clients, such as updated graphics, page layouts, and interactive elements
• Ensure a consistent design aesthetic across all pages while maintaining the integrity of Levelset's brand guidelines
• SEO Maintenance & Performance Optimization:
• Implement SEO best practices during the site update to maintain and improve search engine rankings
• Ensure the site remains optimized for speed, performance, and accessibility
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure proper use of metadata, internal linking, and other on-page SEO elements
• Content Consistency:
• Work with the marketing team to ensure updated content reflects a consistent tone, style, and messaging across the entire site
• Ensure new design and content layouts are easy for internal teams to manage post-launch
• Deliverables:
• A fully refreshed WordPress website optimized for enterprise clients in tone, design, and functionality
• Ensured SEO compliance and best practices throughout the updated site
• A consistent and engaging visual design aligns with the Levelset brand across all pages
• Documentation and guidance for the internal team on managing and updating the site post-project

Requirements:

Experience:

Technical Skills:
