The first thing that is likely to happen once your property hits the market is that other agents will contact you and this may create doubt in your mind about the decisions you have made. If they do, please tell us and direct them to talk to us. We will be happy to conjunct with them, i.e. share the commission with them, and will happily work with them to show your property to their potential buyers from the day we list your property.

Secondly, over protective friends, mums and dads and even children who only have your best interest at heart will question what you have done and / or offer their advice. Sometimes you just need to say “Thanks for your advice. I appreciate it and understand you are trying to help but I know what I am doing. No one has convinced me to do anything I wasn’t happy with”.

It is only natural that in 2-3 weeks you will have doubts as to whether you have done the right  thing. Don’t worry you aren’t the first, and won’t be the last, person to second guess their decision. It may be that interest in the property has been less than you anticipated, that the feedback you are receiving is not what you were hoping to hear, that the seeds planted in your mind by others are taking root, or any one or more of a multitude of other influences.  Rest assured we know what we are doing and that things are happening in the background that you don’t need to be bothered with!
