Once your property goes to market, it is quite common for other agents to make contact. This can sometimes cause uncertainty or make you question the decisions you have made. If that happens, please let us know and refer them to us. We are always happy to conjunct, meaning we will work with them and share commission where appropriate, from the day your property is listed if they have a genuine buyer.

It is also natural for well-meaning friends and family to offer advice or ask questions about the decisions you have made. They will usually have your best interests at heart, but outside opinions can sometimes add to the stress of the process. At times, it may simply help to say, “Thank you, I appreciate your advice and know you are trying to help, but I am comfortable with the decisions I have made.”

It is also very normal to have doubts after two or three weeks on the market. You would not be the first seller to wonder whether you have made the right choices, and you certainly will not be the last. Sometimes interest may feel slower than expected, feedback may not be quite what you hoped for, or comments from others may begin to weigh on your mind. That is all part of the process.
